Sports: Lacrosse Camps
"Most campers return year after year because they learn a lot and have a great time doing it.
-Jenna Ravenscrafts, Former Boise State Women's Head Coach
"It's great to watch the boy's and girl's high school All-Star games and recognize the majority of the players because of their time in camp."
-Alain Rodrigue, Boise High Head Coach
If you want to improve your current skills or simply to learn the game of lacrosse, this camp is for you. Come learn from some of the most successful local coaches and players in the Treasure Valley and beyond.
The boy's and girl's lacrosse camp is a great beginner to intermediate camp to develop and improve your lacrosse skills. The camps are held on the Boise State University campus in late July, early August.
Registration begins in March. The camper-to-staff ratio is never greater than 12 to 1 and a certified athletic trainer is present for the duration of the camp. Each camper will receive a camp reversible jersey and a skills evaluation.
The focus of the camp is to develop proper groundball, cradling, passing, catching, and shooting mechanics. The coaches will also focus on proper body positioning on offense, defense, and during fastbreaks and clears. All campers will also have the opportunity to spend a lot of one on one time learning goaltending and facing off techniques. Lastly, all coaches will require each camper to enjoy themselves throughout camp!
