Instructional Fitness Program: 3-Week Session

Belly Dance
Belly dance is a fast, fun exercise that targets the core muscles. It not only tones the obliques but is a great workout for the legs, hips, buttocks and arms. Additionally, all that shimmying elevates the heart rate and increases cardiovascular fitness. The best part about belly dance is the attitude that instructors and participants exude. Body type and age don't matter in this class, just a desire to move!

Contact Kickboxing
Contact Kickboxing utilizes the entire body, increasing strength, power, focus, and flexibility. In this class you will use punching bags and kickshields to learn and practice a variety of punches and kicks. Contact Kickboxing is a fast-paced class that will give you an excellent cardio workout.

Hip Hop Dance
Practice leading edge moves straight from L.A. Learn the improvisational nature of Hip Hop Dance, and how to develop and execute your own style with choreography. This a great class for all levels of dancers.

Jiu Jitsu
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to train in martial arts and be able to successfully protect yourself in a threatening situation? Jiu-Jitsu is a fun, effective, and easy way to learn a martial art that focuses on throwing the opponent off balance with leverage, then taking control with a submission tactic. These techniques and endurance-building cardio conditioning will give you an understanding of what it's like to be a true Mixed Martial Artist. All levels are welcome in this class.

Salsa Dance
Unleash your inhibitions and learn the energetic and passionate Salsa! This class focuses on the fundamentals of Salsa: basic patterns, footwork, and technique. Come alone or with a partner and learn how to dance in a relaxed, comfortable, fun, and friendly atmosphere.

Yoga Intensive
Deepen your yoga practice with a workshop teaching appropriate alignment, body mechanics, and breathing techniques. Postures will be broken down to help students gain understanding of how to sustain powerful postures and move fluidly without promoting injury. This course is geared toward the yoga student who has some prior experience.
