The Outdoor Program supports Boise State University by utilizing adventure-based experiential activities to create recreational, educational, and leadership learning opportunities.

Join us for an adventure, learn a new skill, meet new friends, and explore beyond campus.

Want to take your group on a trip this summer?  We offer whitewater rafting trips on the Main Payette for campus groups for just $50 a person.  This includes transportation, food, equipment, and leadership.  Contact us at 426-1946 to learn more!

Rental Shop Hours

Mondays10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Tuesdays1-7 p.m.
Wednesdays1-7 p.m.
Thursdays1-7 p.m.
Fridays10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Saturdays10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Sundays10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Summer hours start May 28th and end on August 24th.
Closed over some university breaks, holidays and home football games.


The Outdoor Program is located on the corner of Vermont Avenue and Belmont Street.  Parking is available behind the Outdoor Program, on Belmont Street, or Vermont Avenue.

Traveling North on Broadway Avenue:

  • Turn left on Beacon Street.
  • Turn right on Vermont Avenue.
  • Turn left on Belmont Street.

Traveling South on Boise Avenue:

  • Turn left on Beacon Street.

  • Turn left on Belmont Street.
