The Outdoor Program specializes in designing and delivering custom leadership development and team building programs for campus departments and organizations. The Outdoor Program utilizes non-traditional classroom settings and outdoor activities to create experiential-based learning adventures that help organizations build effective collaboration through teamwork, leadership, and active learning.
Working together as a team, participants develop an awareness of how their implicit assumptions, beliefs, attitudes, preferences, and organizational interests influence their thinking, decision-making process, and actions. Custom programs create unique learning environments that leverage individual and group diversity to promote trust, accountability, and commitment.
On-campus and off-campus programs and activities are designed in collaboration with the leadership of each organization to develop custom experience-based curriculums that support desired learning outcomes. Programs range in length from 8 hours to 15 days.
