Tour
In 2009, the organizers of the Sawooth Mountain Film Festival will be working with select filmmakers from the festival to create a "best of tour" that is envisioned to be aired at select Northwest college campuses. The concept of the tour is to bring the cutting edge of action sports media to the college markets so that other university outdoor programs can generate interest and involvement in the programs that they offer for students.Boise State University Outdoor Program will be working with the Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education (AORE) to identify several university outdoor programs that will test the Student Outdoor Leadership Development Program fundraising model at their campuses. The intent of the tour will be to help universities generate funding that can be earmarked for expedition based leadership training opportunities for the future leaders of the outdoor industry.
