Employment

The Rec Response program provides students an employment opportunity for those who share an interest in the field of health care. These employees are managed under the direction of the Coordinator for Injury Prevention and Care. Their primary role is to assist Certified Athletic Trainers during clinic hours and club sports events.  Employees will acquire valuable clinical knowledge in field of sports medicine. Students employed through Rec Response will also act as First Responders for patrons of the Student Recreation Center, and assist with the evaluation of Campus Recreation employees’ CPR and First Aid skills.

It is highly recommended that a prospective Rec Responder be interested in the profession of athletic training and in improving their sports medicine skills.  Applicants for Rec Response must be a degree seeking student in good standing and pursuing a health professions related major.

The Rec Response program is currently fully staffed, but as school schedules change every semester, so do available positions. If interested, please inquire at the Student Recreation Center Customer Service desk, for an application.  All position postings will be made available on www.broncojobs.com.
