Benefit-eligible faculty and staff on a fee waiver must purchase a membership.
Emeriti are former faculty/staff members officially recognized by the university with emeritus status
Adjunct Faculty and Instructors are eligible to purchase memberships for the semester of instruction. Memberships via EFT and payroll deduction are not available for adjuncts and part-time non-benefited instructors.
Associates/Affiliates – some groups are recognized by campus as associates or affiliates. Associates/affiliates are eligible to purchase a membership at the Boise State Community rate, but must either go through 1) the Affiliation Verification process with the Rec or 2) HR’s request for approval of visitors and affiliate status process. A Boise State Affiliate ID card will be issued to those approved by HR and will need to be presented when purchasing a membership. This Affiliated Verification Form is used to verify your affiliation to Boise State in order to gain approval to purchase a day pass or membership to Boise State’s Rec Center. Please allow two-business days to process the approval process. If approved, the patron will receive an email with the approval letter. The letter must be printed and presented to that staff to process the sale. If more information is needed, the Membership Coordinator will reach out for the appropriate information.
Spouse/Partner Memberships – The Spouse/Partner of any current member is eligible to purchase a membership. The current member must be affiliated with Boise State and carry a current membership. Spouse/Partners can be added to an existing membership at any time.
